He has to go through a process to get them through the National Guard (not directly from LivingWorks), and was promised 120 kits by March 31st. They haven't arrived, and he's concerned he won't get them in time. He wants to ensure the training can happen as scheduled. Do you have up to 30 kits you could loan him - and he'll return them as soon as his order arrives? He's willing to have a written agreement with you and also to pick them up (depending on location) early in the week of April 21st. Please contact David directly if you can help him out: david.meier at asmr.com. Thank you so much! Best regards, Donna Donna G. We were wondering if anyone might have some old version ASIST kits that you are no longer able to use because you have already transitioned over to the new version. If so, would you be willing to donate them or sell them to us at a discount? Of course, we will pass on this discount to our participants. If so, please contact me as soon as possible. Jennifer Bass, a counselor in the Newberg School District would like to send a group of about 19 school counselors and staff (elementary, middle school, and high school) to an ASIST training towards the end of May. Does anyone have a nearby training scheduled they could attend? Would anyone be willing to work with Jennifer to schedule one? It's very exciting that the school district is preparing so many people for comprehensive, district-wide suicide prevention! I am hoping someone can help her out. Please see below for Jennifer's email to me with further details and respond to her directly at bassj at newberg.k12.or.us or 503-554-4973. Thanks so much! Kindly, Donna Donna G. At this time we are looking for ASIST training in or around Newberg sometime towards the end of May. We are aiming for about 19 people total, to be trained from all levels: elementary, middle and high. A team of the same people will already be attending a Crisis Response Team training all day May 6-7th so we are trying to steer clear of too close to those dates. The week of May 19th or May 27th would be ideal if possible. How much would it cost per person? Group discount? I look forward to talking with you more. I just found out yesterday that Deschutes County does have over 100 ASIST workbooks from the most recent version (10x?) before the ASIST 11 upgrade. I am really sorry I didn't know this when someone was looking for the workbooks not long ago. Can you put something on the network letting people know they can contact me (at this email) if they need those workbooks? Jessica is swamped so I can coordinate this if anyone needs them.
