If you know trainers who are not on the list (or are one yourself) - have you sent me a brief bio that I can forward to Oregon NASW to get their approval? That's probably why they/you are not on the list. Why not send that to me today? J Reminder - the current documents (roster, evaluation form, and certificate of completion) have the Conference Number 19-16-143, which is valid through mid-July 2017. Please be certain you are using the current documents and remember to send the completed rosters and evaluations to me upon completion of the training. Let me know if you have any questions or need the current documents and keep up your wonderful, important work! Thank you for being an Oregon ASIST Trainer! Kindly, Donna Donna G. In July, I completed the ASIST T4T. Since then, I have delivered one ASIST training. I am interested in providing additional ASIST trainings so that I can move beyond provisional trainer status. My day job is overseeing the operations of the Pacific Psychology and Comprehensive Health Clinics in downtown Portland and Hillsboro. The clinics have been a part of the School of Professional Psychology at Pacific University since the 1980s. At our two training clinics, doctoral students, doctoral interns, and postdoctoral psychology residents provide outpatient psychological services under the close supervision of licensed psychologists. We strive to provide services to diverse communities, marginalized groups, and underserved individuals. Nearly 1,000 clients are seen each year and over 9,000 client sessions are conducted annually at the PCH clinics. Clients range in age from preschool-aged children to older adults. Clinical services include: 1. psychotherapy for individuals, couples, groups, and families, with treatment, approaches following a variety of theoretical foundations, including cognitive-behavioral, behavioral, psychodynamic, gestalt, and integrative orientations 2. intellectual, personality, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational assessment 3. psychoeducational workshops, seminars, and community outreach 4. psychopharmacological evaluation, medication management and patient education 5. Primary care services including alternative and complementary medicine 6. occupational therapy for functional, sensory, and other assessments, depending on client needs/concerns 7. physical therapy to restore the quality of life and function and prevent and/or reduce physical disabilities due to neurological and/or musculoskeletal disorders 8. speech-language therapy services, including individualized assessment and treatment to manage eating/swallowing challenges as well as a variety of communication challenges, such as speech articulation, voice, language, and cognitive-communication challenges; cognitive rehabilitation services can help manage attention, memory, organizational, and everyday communication following brain injury The two PCH locations are fully accessible, easy to find on public transportation and open extended hours. The Downtown Portland clinic is located on the corner of SW Morrison and 14th Avenue, and our Hillsboro location is at 222 SE 8th Ave, # 212. * We offer daytime appointments on Monday-Friday * Evening appointments till 8pm, Monday-Thursday * Saturday appointments from 9-2pm * The Hillsboro location offers Spanish-speaking services. We accept Health Share of Oregon and offer a variety of discounts for individuals paying out of pocket.
