<DIV>Dear Oregon ASIST Trainers,</DIV>
<DIV>I've created, as promised, a new listserv for Oregon ASIST trainers: ASIST_Network and have included you in it. Welcome!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>
<DIV>If you need a trainer to partner for a training, or have someone looking for an ASIST in another pat of the state, or have openings in a training you are holding - notify the list. We can use the list to our best interests, to network, share information, problem solve. etc. . I expect it will be a low-volume list, but a resource when we need it. All members can post to the list by addressing an email to <A href="mailto:asist_network@listsmart.osl.state.or.us">asist_network@listsmart.osl.state.or.us</A>.</DIV></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'm attaching evaluation results from 20-30-minute interviews done across the nation among ASIST training participants as part of Garrett Lee Smith grants (Oregon was a recipient and we had 3 ASIST trainings included in these results). It's rewarding to hear what participants have learned from ASIST and how they have used the training and to see results broken down by categories (i.e., mental health professionals, staff from schools, juvenile justice, child welfare, and military, and non-mental health professionals). </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I get inquiries all the time - where and when will there be an ASIST training? Most recently, today, someone wants to take an ASIST training in the Salem area. Anyone have one scheduled? Let me know!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I hope this list is an asset to the good work you are doing. If you really don't want to be on this list, please let me know and I'll un-subscribe you. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the list.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Enjoy your weekend! </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Kindly,</DIV>
