<p class="MsoNormal">I received approval from the Oregon chapter of NASW to once again be able to offer 12.5 CEUs to ASIST training participants (social workers, LPCs, substance abuse counselors and prevention specialists) for a year, from July 17 2014 through
July 16, 2015.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The documents are attached: roster, evaluation form and participant certificate.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Please return the completed rosters and evaluations to me after your ASIST training; I will send them to NASW in batches at their request. Please put the dates of the trainings on these forms.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">You may advertise that you offer NASW CEUs in your promotional materials. These CEUs are also accepted for LPCs and for addictions counselors and prevention specialists through ACCBO (The Addiction Counselor Certification Board).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As before, The Oregon Public Health Division is listed as the “conference sponsor,” even though you/your agency is sponsoring the training – for the purpose of the CEU approval, we are the sponsoring agency.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve also attached the most recent list of approved trainers – please be sure you and your co-trainer are both approved by Oregon NASW to grant credits. If you are not on the list, send me a brief bio and I’ll send it in for approval.<o:p></o:p></p>
