In the fall of 2015 the Oregon Department of Education and the Early Learning Division convened a panel of stakeholders that included early learning providers and coordinators, kindergarten teachers, K-12 administrators, researchers, and various specialists to begin to develop interpretive guidance around the past three years of data. The panel provided input to create a developmental continuum describing the skills that typical students demonstrate upon entry into kindergarten. An overview document for interpretive guidance is also included. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with these documents before Friday. The documents are embargoed until February 8th, when the Kindergarten Assessment data will be released. Thank you very much for your help.
