<div>In preparation for the Assessment Advisory meeting on Friday afternoon, the Oregon Department of Education will be asking for guidance around communication about interpretive guidance for the 2015-16 test administration.  In the fall of 2015 <font face="Times New Roman">the

Oregon Department of Education and the Early Learning Division convened a panel of stakeholders that included early learning providers and coordinators, kindergarten teachers, K-12 administrators, researchers, and various specialists to begin to develop interpretive

guidance around the past three years of data.  The panel provided input to create a developmental continuum describing the skills that typical students demonstrate upon entry into kindergarten.  An overview document for interpretive guidance is also included. 

Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with these documents before Friday.  The documents are <font face="Times New Roman">embargoed<font face="Times New Roman"> until February 8<font face="Times New Roman" size="1"><span style="font-size:7.3pt;">th<font face="Times New Roman">,
