<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">We especially invite your review of the document showing proposed rules with tracked changes and the explanations for the proposed changes. The proposed changes range from updates to
ethics and professional standards, to the proposal to move Oregon closer to national standards for examination and licensure by modification of the educational requirements. There is also far greater detail in these proposals on how applicants for licensure
in the audit, tax and industry tracks can meet the existing competency standards for licensure.

(LRTF). Board member Roger Graham and the Qualifications Committee also helped enormously with respect to the proposed changes to licensure and examination standards. Professional associations such as OSCPA and OAIA contributed very generously to the LRTF
with ideas, language and guidance. Beyond that, I also want to thank those single practitioners who over the past two years since I came to the Board raised concerns about, and suggested amendments for Board rules. </span><span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
