BOLI’s 35th Annual Employment Law Conference will help employers navigate new workplace rules
Compliance experts will join top employment law attorneys to focus on new protections, requirements
Portland, OR—The Bureau of Labor and Industries will hold its 35th Annual Employment Law Conference<https://www.oregon.gov/boli/TA/Pages/AnnualConference/Flyer.aspx> on November 4th and 5th at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, the agency announced today.
The state’s premier employer training event will feature more than 30 sessions on frequently requested topics such as workplace harassment, pay equity, trouble employees, final pay and I-9 updates. This year’s conference will also feature sessions on major new workplace requirements such as the recently-passed Workplace Fairness Act.
“The Employment Law Conference is organized for employers of all sizes to learn what they need to know to stay up to date on frequently complex compliance issues,” said Labor Commissioner Val Hoyle. “This year’s conference will feature sessions on new employment laws and topics we’re most frequently asked about as we travel the state.”
