Message for Business Managers/Agency Heads and the Business Manager Listserve


Due to the end of the state fiscal year and the end of the biennium, the EGMS system will be off-line from August 17th through August 21st.
During this period we will be making some changes in the EGMS system to align with the statewide accounting system.  Sub grants will no longer have an Encumbrance (EE000000) number.  Existing and new subgrants will have a Subgrant number  (SG000000).  This will have no effect on your funds or how EGMS works, only the prefix of the number identifying it in the state accounting system is changed.
All draws for June claims must be entered into EGMS by August 7th to be included in your 2009 Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA)  Any claims for June expenditures requested after that date will not be paid in the current biennium.  They will be posted and paid as grants are processed during the close-out process.  This could result in a delay in your June payments. .  If you have any questions on this process please contact your grant staff or the Grants Coordinator.
