[Busmgrs] Summary Trans Rate and Contracts

I have received several requests for a summary of the answers I got from
Districts

 Most District's pay the IRS current mileage rate which is .50 right now.
Most Districts pay only one round trip a day and they pay every 3 months.
Some have the parents turn in a mileage form monthly. All Districts that
answered said they check attendance records to verify. There were quite a
few who pay between .25 and .40. Most Districts have some kind of contract
written up or have the parents sign a letter. Some have it in the policy
book.
Hope that helps. I even received a  copy of the letter to parents.
Ashwood currently has a contract and pays one round trip a day. We use a
contract and the rate is .25 but the Board wanted to know if that should be
increased so they had me ask other Districts.
