[Busmgrs] School Bus Driver’s Certificates

Good morning, everyone -

Just a quick note to let you know the Pupil Transportation Unit is currently experiencing a high volume of applications for School Bus Driver's Certificates just prior to the start of the school year. Please be aware of the following:

School Bus Driver’s Certificates are mailed within 48 business hours of the application arriving at ODE. If you haven't already mailed the application to ODE, you will not have the Driver’s Permit or Certificate by Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
If you don't have a certificate for your driver(s), they will need a Temporary Driver Form<http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/transportation/forms/2240-m.pdf> approved by ODE.  Forms received by noon on Friday will be processed in time for a Tuesday Morning route. These forms may be faxed to (503) 378-5156 or emailed to buslicense at ode.state.or.us<mailto:buslicense at ode.state.or.us>.
