Dear Business Managers,

The 2012-13 estimates have been published to the website. The district estimates are available here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/2012-13-ssf-estimate-as-of-3-6-13-2134-hrs.pdf. The ADMw breakout for the districts is available here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/2012-13-adm-breakout-3-6-13-2134-hrs.pdf. The ESD estimates are available here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/esd-12_13-estimate-as-of-3-6-13-2140-hrs.pdf. The March payment will be made on these estimates.

The teacher experience number has been corrected from the 2013-14 estimates. The statewide teacher experience average is based on 2011-12 values and is 13.04 for the state. That is also the number that will be used for 2013-14 for future estimates until 2012-13 teacher experience is available.

The ADMr for 2012-13 is second period ADM with the December to June ratio applied. The December to June ratio will be published shortly.

I was remiss in not mentioning two individuals when I published the 2013-14 estimates. Lorene Nakamura and Chris Edison have been instrumental in implementing HB 3417 and creating the new estimates that you see. Not only did they do all of the programming work but Lorene also designed the estimates. I am thankful to them for their amazing contributions to this effort.

Thank you to all of the comments on the 2013-14 estimates. I am working with districts to update information in the Estimate of Membership and Revenue collection. Once the updates are complete additional 2013-14 estimates will be forthcoming.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,
Michael
