ESD information is available here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/esdwarrant-2-4-14.pdf. The actual funds should be in your accounts by February 6. As I am sure many of you will notice, this February's payment is much earlier than the usual payment. The Department of Administrative Services needs us to make the payment early this month only for IRS compliance for the State's tax anticipation note. Thus, everyone gets their funds early for February. March's payment will be back to the normal schedule. Several districts have asked about the Common School Fund payment for January as well. We are making the payment. One of the tasks that has to be completed is the publication of the ADMr by county lines report. We are working on this report as there have been some changes to the report. As soon as we publish that report, we will be able to move forward with the Common School Fund payment. We should be making that payment soon. Lastly, the official 2014-15 estimates will be available no later than March 3, 2014. We are working to get them out as soon as possible. We also plan to publish 2012-13 estimates and later, 2013-14 estimates. Thank you for your help and patience. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am pleased to announce that the 2014-15 estimates are published on our website. The ESD estimates are here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/esd-14-15-estimate-as-of-2-28-14-1513-hrs.pdf. These estimates have several important updates that I want to highlight. First, estimated extended ADMw for the state is 672,000. This includes both increases for changes in the poverty calculation and a lot of changes districts made to their estimates to correctly count their charter school numbers. Second, the Legislative Revenue Office's local revenue forecasts for 2014-15 have been included. I increased the estimated local revenue to be in more alignment with their forecast. Additionally districts have updated their estimates as well based on their tax collection so far. Finally, these updates include all district updated information through February 26. If you would like to make changes based on this information please let me know. The changes will be captured in the next estimate. The schedule going forward should be in this order: 1. Posting the Common School Fund payment 2. Making the March 2014 payment 3. Posting a 2012-13 estimate that includes 2012-13 annual ADM 4. Posting a 2013-14 estimate.
