The Actual Revenue and Expenditures 13-14 collections opened 10/9/14 and will close 12/29/14. 2. Paper audits are due 1/2/15. Please send to Mari Sue Johnson, Oregon Department of Education, 255 Capitol Street NE, Salem, OR 97310 3. The ESD Direct Support 13-14 collection opens 11/13/14 and closes 12/29/14. 4. The Actuals and ESD Direct Support 13-14 webinar will be held next Tuesday, October 21st, from 2:00-3:30. The link is https://district.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=236, then scroll down to Financial Reporting - Actuals and ESD Direct Support 13-14 - October 21, 2014. I anticipate the webinar will last about 1 hour. The link to the handouts will be sent next Monday. 5. A-133 payments from ODE are posted in the Audit 133 Report at http://www.ode.state.or.us/apps/accountingservices/. On a similar note, we are making good progress this year with the budget reviews and are working to have all reviews complete in November. Of the 216 budgets under review, 55% are complete; 10% are under review; and 34% are awaiting review. If you haven't heard from us yet, you will in the not too distant future. My compliments on the quality budgets your offices produce. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you do for your districts. So even though you just got your 2014-15 school year underway, you can start thinking about the next year. I also want to give everyone some quick tips to ensure that the forms get filled out successfully. 1. All financial data is to be recorded at the district level. 2. All IEP student counts are at the district level. a. We have put an error in the form if any of these fields are filled out in the charter school form. 3. The district ADMr should be the total of the non-charter and charter ADMr in the district. Do not put in non-charter ADMr only in the district field. 4. Please watch those 0s such that 3 million does not become 30 million and vice versa. 5. If your district is implementing full-day kindergarten in 2015-16 then please enter kindergarten counts at the full amount. Normally you would divide kindergarten counts by 2, but if the district is offering full-day kindergarten, then enter at the full amount. 6. If your district is not implementing full-day kindergarten in 2015-16 then please continue to divide the kindergarten counts by 2. 7. At this time there are no federal forest fees planned for 2015-16. Please enter 0 for those fields. Please let me know if you have questions about the collection.
