[Busmgrs] 2014-15 Estimated High Cost Disability Grant payments

Dear Business Managers,

The updated estimated 2014-15 High Cost Disability payments have been posted to our website. They are here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/misc/14-15-hcd-estimated-payments-4-22-15.pdf. The 2014-15 estimated High Cost payments will be made on these estimates.

Thank you to those districts that revised their estimated eligible expenses. The estimated ratio dropped from about 44% payout to 41% payout. While in reality that is not great news, it is closer to the 2013-14 actuals and thus most likely closer to actual expenses for 2014-15. The end result is that hopefully we will not see as big a swing in the reconciliation of the High Cost Disability Grant as we saw in 2013-14.
