Dear Business Managers,

Thank you to the many districts, ESD and charter schools that have submitted their Healthy and Safe Schools Plan. However, we are still missing plans from many districts. Please submit your plan if you have not yet done so.

ODE will be reviewing the draft plans of existing and future submissions. ODE's review will consist of a review to determine if a draft plan has met all required elements under OAR 581-022-2223. ODE will not be reviewing to determine if a proposed course of action is best practices or in compliance with other federal or state rules and regulations.

The goal is to get feedback to the districts in enough time such that they can make any changes they need and submit their final plans by January 1, 2017.

Please also remember that Radon Plans must be submitted to Oregon Health Authority and not ODE.
