[Busmgrs] July 2017-18 State School Fund Payment

Good Day

Your July State School Fund payment has been made based off the Legislative approved $8.2 billion with a 50/50 split between years. This is a double payment since there are no funds distributed in June.

Some things to note are the fingerprint intercepts reflect May -June billing. I will be deducting the April intercepts in the August payment. The second common school fund payment will be processed in the coming weeks and should be similar to your January 2017 payment.

Finally, I know many of you are curious what M98 looks like for your district, there will be information shared in the coming days. The grant coordinator for that is Donna Brant and may be able to answer a lot of your questions. I will be presenting a basic overview of the state school fund at the OASBO conference in a couple weeks.  I hope to see all of you in Bend.
