[Busmgrs] 2016-17 Actual High Cost Disability Grant

I have completed the calculations for reconciling the 2016-17 High Cost Disability (HCD) Grant and posted the results to the website: http://www.oregon.gov/ode/schools-and-districts/grants/Pages/K-12-School-Funding-Information.aspx

This report shows the amount originally distributed in your State School Fund (SSF) payments in May 2017, based on your estimates, and we're now reconciling with actual costs reported in the 2016-17 HCD data collection. The reconciled HCD payments will be made in your May 2018 SSF payment.

The grant is $35 million each year and originally had a reimbursement rate of around 53% of costs over $30,000. This year it has already dropped to 47% payout which is a little concerning. At the zone meetings this year we are campaigning for districts to start applying for Medicaid. I also urge you to double check your estimates which is originally submitted in the estimate of membership and revenue.
