Subject: Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program Accepting Applications

I wanted to remind all of you that the Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program (SRGP) is once again accepting applications.  All of the necessary application forms and guidance pieces have been posted on our web site at:

We will accept applications until November 16, 2018 at 5pm.  For this round there is $75 million available for school projects and $10 million available for emergency services projects.  For those of you who maintain listserves for interested parties please share this information and help to spread the word.

The awards we announced in April have all received their contracts and will be able to begin their projects soon.  We have already begun to receive the first of the signed contracts returned to us.  We look forward to working on all of these important projects!

As we discussed at our April meeting, we held our engineering/BCA training on June 20th in Portland.  It was well attended and we have received positive feedback from the participants.  If the program receives further funding from the legislature we will plan another training.
