RE:             Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for OAR 333-061-0400, "Reducing lead in school drinking water"

The Oregon Health Authority (Authority), Public Health Division, Drinking Water Services section is proposing to permanently adopt OAR 333-061-0400 relating to testing school drinking water taps for lead; and removing, repairing or replacing the taps if necessary to deliver safe drinking water.

You are being invited to review the proposed rules and to comment on them.  If you wish to provide oral testimony, a public hearing will be held on October 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Room 1E of the Portland State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232.

You may also file written comments before 5:00 p.m. on October 26, 2018 to:
