[Busmgrs] 2017-18 Estimate

Good Morning,

An updated 17/18 estimate has been posted to the web. On this update you will see new and improved transportation data, with an increase of $14 million. The $20 million reserve has been distributed as well as the high cost disability grant and small high school grant can be viewed. Finally the IEP cap waiver weights have been updated. This is a comparative weight which looks at spending and severity in your district compared to the rest of the state.

We are still reconciling the carve outs which are on the cover page of the estimates so look for those changes on the final estimate later this month. I will also be posting an updated 18-19 estimate next week. For the May payment we combine 17/18 and 18/19 remaining distributions. This could be a negative or positive amount so please thoroughly review these final estimates.

We are in the final stretch ladies and gentleman keep up the great work. April 30th will be the cut off for adjustments to 17/18 and 18/19 prior to the May payment.
