<div>To all Business Managers that <i><b>do not have </b></i>a CCR/CAGE#, and those entities that <i><b>do not have </b></i>DUNS number:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>We appreciate your assistance with the survey information a few weeks ago sent out by Mike Wiltfong. For those districts and Esd's that do not have a Central Contractor Registration (CCR) number (also known as CAGE#) below are the following steps that
<b>need</b> to be taken. (Note: It takes approximately 45 minutes to complete the CCR registration process, if a entity has gathered the information prior to entry online.) ODE is providing this website information rather than doing a webinar, as the web
information is very detailed and easy for use, reduces the reason for ODE to duplicate what is already created.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I have attached the current list of Oregon School Districts and ESDs with their DUNS and CCR/CAGE numbers that have been reported to ODE as of today. Please review this listing prior to doing the CCR registration process. </div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div><b>DUNS Number </b>- <u>All Entities need to have a DUNS number </u><u><b>prior</b></u><u> to starting the CCR registry process</u>. If you do not have a DUNS number, go to the <a href="www.ccr.gov/contractors.aspx"><font color="#0000FF"><u>www.ccr.gov/contractors.aspx</u></font></a>
website and click on the right side button entitled "D&B Web Form for DUNS Number Request" or go to <a href="http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform"><font color="#0000FF"><u>http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform</u></font></a> and begin the process. This process does not take
long, and a confirmed DUNS number will be assigned in approximately 1 business day. If your entity address appears as having an existing DUNS number you may purchase the report for your number, or contact the D&B helpline to gather the information. Many
entities have a DUNS number, however are unaware.</div>
<div> </div>
<div><b>Step 1 </b>- On the CCR website (<a href="http://www.ccr.gov/Contractors.aspx"><font color="#0000FF"><u>http://www.ccr.gov/Contractors.aspx</u></font></a>) ODE strongly recommends to print off the User Guide before beginning the process. For entities
that are new registrants and those that need to renew/update their registration; there are also step-by-step screen shot pages. ODE suggests you take the time to review the User Guide and screen shots, as it will create time efficiency during the web entry
process. You may also click on the "Search CCR" on the left side menu and type in DUNS number to check your status at any time.</div>
<div> </div>
<div><b>Step 2 </b>- Gather all information listed from User Guide, such as address, points of contacts (POC) for financial and administrative, etc.</div>
<div> </div>
<div><b>Step 3a</b> - For new registrants - click on "Start New Registration" button in the top left menu of the <a href="www.ccr.gov"><font color="#0000FF"><u>www.ccr.gov</u></font></a> website. </div>
<div> </div>
<div><b>Step 3b </b>- For entities that need to update their Trading Partner Identification Numbers (TPINs) or had a CAGE# number previously that is currently expired - click on the "Update or Renew Registration" button on the left side menu of the <a href="www.ccr.gov"><font color="#0000FF"><u>www.ccr.gov</u></font></a>
website. Please note: TPINs and Confirmation Numbers are no longer issued and will not be accepted to access a registration starting December 21, 2009. The TPIN process has been replaced by a user account accessed by a user ID and password. </div>
<div> </div>
<div><b>Step 4 </b>- Send your CAGE# number to ODE after your entity has completed the CCR/CAGE# registration process. For those entities that also received a DUNS number, ODE will also need to receive that information. You may send the information to kristy.hartsell@state.or.us
to update the ODE files for federal reporting purposes. </div>
<div> </div>
<div style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt; ">The above numbers are required as in the near future the ODE will need to report to the federal government on the amount of federal stimulus monies received by each district and ESD. The reporting will require
each district to register in and have a Central Contractor Registration number, or CCR/CAGE#. This is based on the regulations under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Section 1512(h). ODE appreciates your assistance in gaining these registration
numbers and providing them back for future statewide reporting purposes.</div>
