<div>RE: 2010-11 Federal Ed Jobs and 2010-11 State Fiscal Stabilization Fund Update</div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Good afternoon everyone: </div>
<div> </div>
<div>I wanted to send an update on the availability of the 2010-11 Education Jobs (Ed Jobs) Program (CFDA 84.410) and the 2010-11 State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF) (CFDA 84.394) sub grants in the Electronic Grant Management System (EGMS). I had communicated
previously I anticipated these funds would be available by the end of October. Unfortunately we weren’t able to meet that deadline due to unforeseen delays. However, you should now be able to see your Ed Jobs sub grants in EGMS and I have been reassured access
to the SFSF sub grants should be in place early next week; possibly sooner. I will send out an update once everything is complete, as well, we will be sending the Sub Grant Award Notifications (SAN) via Email in the near future. I apologize for the delay. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Please know that if you request 100%, or a substantial portion of your funds in either sub grant, I will be asking for your supporting documentation to demonstrate how your request for reimbursement ties to your General Fund expenditures. Many of you have
received similar requests from me for your 2009-10 SFSF sub grants as part of the Department’s during-the-award monitoring process as required in federal guidance. Similar to the SFSF grant, there will be a high-level of accountability for the Ed Jobs funds.
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>If you have not done so, I would encourage everyone to review the federal guidance for the Ed Jobs grant which can be found at the following link <a href="http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=1363"><font color="#0000FF"><u>http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=1363</u></font></a>
under the Ed Jobs section at the top of the page. Click on the link titled “<a href="http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/finance/estwarrants/initial-ed-jobs-guidance-final-8-13-10.pdf"><font color="#0000FF"><u>Initial federal guidance for Ed Jobs funding</u></font></a>”
to access the document. I would note of interest Section D. Lo</div>

<div>If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact me. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thank you,</div>
