After two follow up calls and submitting additional information as they requested we were notified late last week that Oregon was denied a waiver. OSEP determined that the submitted shortfall for Maintenance of Effort (MOE) was not due to “exceptional or uncontrollable circumstances to grant a waiver” and Oregon will not be granted a waiver to allow for a reduction to its amount of State financial support provided for special education and related services .
