<div>There have been several changes since the February Estimate. First, districts provided updated information on local revenue. Thank you for providing those updates. Second, IEP, IEP Cap Waiver, Poverty, and Neglected, Delinquent and Foster weights were

updated. Third, Superintendent Castillo appointed an interim Director of the Office of Regional Education Services in order to release the 2011-12 ORES funds to the State School Fund. This resulted in an increase of about $10 million to the districts in the

formula. The remaining funds in the ORES are for the operation of the ORES. Any funds not spent by ORES will be transferred to the State School Fund at the end of the biennium. Finally, the carve out for Long Term Care and State Schools was updated with actual

payments.</div>
