<div>As many of you know, normally we do not update the State School Fund until late in the fall. This gives districts a chance to make any changes once they start to see their enrollment numbers. However, this year we will be making an update to the State

School Fund in September. This is to help some districts avoid financial hardship because of significant changes this year.</div>

<div>I am letting everyone know so that if you want to make changes to your local revenue or membership numbers for the 2014-15 school year, please let me know and I will reopen your collection to make those changes. The only year that will be affected is the

2014-15 school year. Further, the September update will be the only planned update for the fall. The next update won’t be until winter or early spring for the 2014-15 school year. </div>

<div>Please review your estimates and if you would like to make changes please let me know. I need to hear from you by Friday August 29 in order to accommodate the changes.</div>
