<div>As we settle into the new fiscal year, here are some dates and links you may find of benefit in your work with the actuals:</div>

<li>The Actual Revenue and Expenditures 13-14 collections opened 10/9/14 and will close 12/29/14. </li><li>Paper audits are due 1/2/15. Please send to Mari Sue Johnson, Oregon Department of Education, 255 Capitol Street NE, Salem, OR 97310</li><li>The ESD Direct Support 13-14 collection opens 11/13/14 and closes 12/29/14.</li><li>The Actuals and ESD Direct Support 13-14 <b>webinar</b> will be held next Tuesday, October 21st, from 2:00-3:30. The link is <a href="https://district.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=236"><font color="blue"><u>https://district.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=236</u></font></a>,
then scroll down to Financial Reporting – Actuals and ESD Direct Support 13-14 – October 21, 2014. I anticipate the webinar will last about 1 hour. The link to the handouts will be sent next Monday. </li><li>A-133 payments from ODE are posted in the Audit 133 Report at <a href="http://www.ode.state.or.us/apps/accountingservices/"><font color="blue"><u>http://www.ode.state.or.us/apps/accountingservices/</u></font></a>. </li></ol>

<div>On a similar note, we are making good progress this year with the budget reviews and are working to have all reviews complete in November. Of the 216 budgets under review, 55% are complete; 10% are under review; and 34% are awaiting review. If you haven’t
heard from us yet, you will in the not too distant future. My compliments on the quality budgets your offices produce.</div>
