<div>Now that the holidays are in full swing, and the Estimate of Membership and Revenue is closed, mostly, I thought I would open another collection. After all it is better to give than receive <font face="Wingdings">J</font></div>

<div>All kidding aside, the Facility Grant was scheduled to open on December 4. Since we were in the middle of the Estimate of Membership and Revenue collection I chose to wait until that collection had closed. The Facility Grant collection is how districts
who have constructed new classroom space may apply for funds to help furnish that space.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>In order to qualify, the space must be new classroom space and must be in use by January 15, 2015. If those two requirements are met, then districts are free to submit a grant application. Applications are due February 15, 2015. You must submit a separate
application for each structure that you are claiming under the grant. Total funds for the 2013-15 biennium are $20 million. The funds are prorated if the eligible costs exceed the amount of funds.</div>
