<div>These estimates have the following changes from the estimates published on February 24, 2015:</div>

<ul style="margin:0;padding-left:36pt;">

<li style="margin-bottom:10pt;">The state funding percentages are changed from 49% in 2015-16 and 51% in 2016-17 to 50% for each year. This<font color="#1F497D"> </font>reflects the best available information we have from the Co-Chairs regarding the treatment

of the State School Fund appropriation.</li><li style="margin-bottom:10pt;">We have been requested to use a local property tax estimate that is 4.5% higher than the estimate for 2014-15. Also the collection rate has been increased to 96%.</li><li style="margin-bottom:10pt;">The High Cost Disability Grant carve-out is being reduced to $18 million. This is to reflect current law. ODE generally bases its estimates on current law. The High Cost Disability Grant was increased to $35 million to reflect

the proposed Co-Chairs budget. Since that is not current law, the carve-out will be $18 million until there is a change to the law.</li><li style="margin-bottom:10pt;">To comply with current law, the Small High School Grant ($2.5 million) will continue to be removed from the State School Fund calculations as it is scheduled to sunset on June 30, 2015.</li><li style="margin-bottom:10pt;">All district changes that have been made since the last estimate.</li><li style="margin-bottom:10pt;">The incorrect calculation of 2014-15 extended ADMw for districts with charter schools has been fixed.</li></ul>

<div>Please review your estimates. I would also request that districts check their local revenue estimates against current tax collections for 2014-15 and their projections. If you believe your initial projects were low, please let ODE know and we can adjust

your information as needed.</div>
