<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>Eligibility of Medical Equipment:</u></b> There have been lots of questions about the eligibility of equipment purchases, keep them coming! As per FP 104-010-04 (attached), Public Assistance Medical Care Policy for COVID-19, specialized
medical equipment purchases that are made prudently, reasonably, and necessary to respond to COVID-19 may be eligible for reimbursement. The applicant should document why the equipment is necessary and how it alleviates or eliminates an immediate threat of
infection of medical staff along with provide the needed support and protection for patients. Equipment purchases are subject to disposition requirements as described in the Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide at 29. This is in alignment with CDC guidance
of having trained, equipped and capable practices needed in preventing the spread of COVID-19 within medical care facilities. Here are some additional specific details:<o:p></o:p></p>
