General Meeting Minutes * November 18, 2009
 
Attendees:  Angela Collar, BPA; Dede Henderson, Treasurer; Greg
Henderson, Oregon Pacific Bank & Duck Race; Kelly Southern, Options,
Michael D*Angelo, DHS; Lara Adair UCAN Head Start; Elissa Burrows, UofO
intern for Options; Melanie Trevisiol, Roseburg Schools; Diane Pietrzak
DHS.
 
Minutes from 10-21-09 were approved.
 
Treasurer*s Report:  Dede Henderson met with Phyllis Zegers regarding
booking records.  Dede was provided with a spreadsheet that is not
current.  Charlene Strasser has the check book.  Bank statements are
reconciled at the Family Development Center.  Dede plans to talk with
Charlene about the CAPP accounting system.
 
E-Chair:  Michael D*Angelo agrees to be E-Chair back-up for Barry
Forte*. 
 
Heart Gallery:  The group agrees that we will use Jackson County*s
Heart Gallery until such time as Douglas County is able to fund our
own.
 
Speaker*s Bureau DVD:  Diane will work with Aubrey Laverty on  the
DVD.
 
Shots for Tots:  On hold.
 
Business After Hours, April 13, 2010:  Brad Watkins agreed to host the
April, 2010 Business After Hours.  The Rotary Duck Race is paying the
fee.  It will be held at Phoenix School and will serve as the kick off
event for Child Abuse Prevention Month.
 
Duck Race Calendar:  The Duck Race calendar will be published soon. 
Greg will bring it to the next meeting.
 
Next Meeting:  All present agree that the December 16th meeting will
include a potluck dessert & holiday celebration.  Everyone will bring
another person with them to the meeting at OPB at 3 pm.
