[Britt Collins]Britt Collins is an occupational therapist at the STAR Center in Denver, CO.   Her first book, Sensory Parenting: Newborns to Toddlers­, won the 2010 Book of the Year Award in the Parenting Category. Her second book, Sensory Parenting: The Elementary Years, will be released October 2012. Britt works as an Occupational therapist, author and national speaker. She is currently working on her first children's book.



Sensory Integration disorder or dysfunction (SID) is a neurological disorder that results from the brain's inability to integrate certain information received from the body's five

      basic sensory systems.
