 iPad Usage for Students with Autism

  Saturday, July 20th

10:00 to 12:00



 This is a workshop for parents and educators in the community to discuss potential benefits of iPad usage for students with autism. Specific applications for the iPad will be introduced that can help support communication, transition, social skills, and positive behavior for students with ASD within the classroom and home settings. This workshop will be presented by a group of PSU graduate students as part of their work toward a Master's degree.

Autism Diagnosis Project



Parents are invited to participate in the Autism Diagnosis Project, a study that seeks to examine the experiences of parents of children with autism spectrum disorders in obtaining a diagnosis for their children from physicians. If you are a parent who has gone through this process, please click on the link below for more information & access to a short survey. If you are an educator or other service provider, please feel free to pass this information on to any families that you work with.



The information collected will be used to better inform doctors and parents, so that children with autism will be diagnosed at an earlier age and be able to receive educational services as soon as possible.
