[CAPP] June Minutes

Good morning!!

I attended the last conference in April and vowed then to get involved with CAPP. I am very interested in joining to assist with the next conference!! My involvement with several organizations and agencies including business "Champions" include past membership in the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce*; The Economic Development Partnership of Douglas County*;  current involvement (President) of the Oregon Employer Council, Douglas County; Umpqua Community College Leadership Cohort; Wolf Creek Job Corps Community Relations Council and Industry Advisory Councils and pending involvement with the Umpqua Basin Economic Alliance and the Youth Entrepreneur Society of Umpqua Valley. Additionally I assist with the Douglas County Earth Day and Energy Fair and Roseburg's Annual Veteran's Parade - so I am very aware of existing community resources - and hate to spend money - even if it is someone elses.

(*effective May 2013 was unable to continue to pay for paid membership costs due to sequestration and budget cuts to Job Corps funding)

The third Wednesday of the month at 3:30 pm works very well for me. I am already on the mailing list - so I look forward to meeting and working with you!!
