Please join us at the 15th Annual Shoulder to Shoulder Conference Strengthening Children & Families on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Red Lion Hotel in Jantzen Beach, Portland, Oregon. The Conference is a collaborative partnership between Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center and other community partner agencies. Conference cost is outlined below.

Pre-Conference Event: Monday, November 18, 2013 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

A Pre-Conference Event will feature speaker Darla Henry, author of 3-5-7 Model: A Practice Approach to Permanency - Stories of Hope & Healing for Children, Youth and Families, who will speak on "Lessons Learned: The path to 3-5-7." The cost to attend this Pre-Conference Event is $20.00 per person.

Adoptive and foster parents, kinship caregivers, advocates, caseworkers, social workers, lawyers, judicial officers, citizen review board members (CRB), mental health professionals, medical professionals and anyone who is working with adoptive and foster children are all invited to attend. You are encouraged to register early as we expect a large turn out.

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate of attendance will be available to conference attendees who complete the on-line conference evaluation/survey following the conference. This certificate of attendance is a non-accredited certificate, primarily for parents (foster, adoptive, kinship parents) and paraprofessionals. For those without internet access a hard copy of the evaluation and certificate will be available at the registration desk at the end of the day of the conference. If you need a credentialed certificate, please see the description for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs).

There will also be a CADC certificate for Drug and Alcohol counselors available at the end of the conference. Please see the registration table to complete the evaluation at the end of the day and receive your certificate.
