<DIV><FONT size=3>The Disability Services Advisory Committee for Douglas County, Oregon Commission for the Blind and the Blinded Veteran's Association want to help our community learn how visually impaired people use accommodations in their daily lives.   </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=3>Attached is a flyer announcing  "White Cane Awareness Day" October 15th at the Veteran's Administration in Roseburg.  The flyer is straight text so that it can be used by people with visual impairments as well as people without visual impairments.  If you're a DHS employee, p</FONT><FONT size=3>lease be sure to ask your supervisor for authority to participate.  All others, please follow your own agency's protocols for participating in community based training.</FONT></DIV>
