<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>CAPP Calendar Update:<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>After discussion consensus was reached on this year's calendar format.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We will adapt the prevention month calendar on the preventchildabuse website.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It includes tips on things we can all do to prevent child abuse.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We will also insert local events.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Elizabeth will prepare the calendar and Diane will look for a resource to have it printed.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We estimate that 2,000 copies are sufficient to distribute to Boys and Girls Club; YMCA; and other venues serving children.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>

Umpqua Partners are not holding Truth, Lies and Videotapes this year.</FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><FONT face=Calibri size=3>CAPP Facebook Page:<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Pam Knudsen, Boys and Girls Club, will talk with the Keystone Club on February 17<SUP>th</SUP> and let us know on February 18<SUP>th</SUP> whether the club participants are interested and able to create a Facebook page for CAPP.</FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><FONT face=Calibri size=3>Business Event for April:<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Greg and Sue, this year's Mama Duck, are looking into the possibility of holding a business/CAPP event potentially on Thursday, April 7<SUP>th</SUP> from 5 to 7 pm.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>If it can be arranged, Rotary Club members and contributors to the annual Rotary Duck Race event will be invited.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>A social gathering is thought to be the best forum - giving contributors and providers an opportunity to mingle and share information and resources.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It will be a by invitation only event.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Greg will send out an email with information as it becomes available.</FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><FONT face=Calibri size=3>211 Presentation:<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Dave Duncombe, Southwest Oregon 211, gave a verbal presentation on the 211 project.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>He is seeking agency input to populate the database.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Once it is on line, it will be accessible on the 211 website.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>After funding to support the call center for Douglas County is obtained, it will also be available at 211.</FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>Celebrate Children:<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Karin gave an overview of the upcoming Celebrate Children Day!<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It is scheduled for Saturday, April 30<SUP>th</SUP>.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Karin has been busy securing donations for the raffle giveaway and lining up agencies to host children activity booths.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Ideas for additional booths include Douglas County Museum, Douglas High School or Roseburg High School Cheerleaders leading kids in fun songs and activities.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><FONT face=Calibri size=3>We are looking for a way to transport people from a parking lot to the Wildlife Safari because parking is limited at Wildlife.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Jerry will ask if ADAPT buses may be available; Diane will check with Cow Creek Tribe on their trolley; Cat Feral is talking to Toby Notenboom about UTRANS help.</FONT></P>
