This law becomes effective April 1, 2011. Because home inspections are generally performed in anticipation of the sale or purchase of a home, the Construction Contractors Board (CCB) has proposed amending its home inspection rules to be consistent with Oregon Law. A rule hearing is scheduled for April 26, 2011. If passed it would require Oregon Certified Home Inspectors to observe and report on carbon monoxide detectors beginning May 1, 2011. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
