For Your Situational Awareness (FYSA)

CISA releases State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) Indicators of Compromise (IOC) pilot program products

* CISA announced the release of State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) Indicators of Compromise (IOC) Automation Pilot Program Products<https://cisa.gov/state-local-tribal-territorial-cyber-information-sharing-program>. These resources are the direct result of a successful pilot project that was executed as part of a cooperative agreement CISA has with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL).

* SLTT governments and organizations depend on information technology systems and computer networks for essential operations. These systems face large and diverse cyber threats that range from unsophisticated criminals to technically competent intruders using state-of-the-art intrusion techniques.

* CISA is working with our SLTT partners to provide actionable information to enable organizations both large and small to protect their networks, operations, data, and employees.

* CISA is providing sample workflows and guides to assist SLTT governments that are using or considering Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) technology to automate their cybersecurity operations.

* To further assist cybersecurity efforts within the SLTT community, the pilot project developed a series of short technical guides, white papers and videos on cybersecurity automation and threat intelligence sharing best practices. These resources assist organizations with the assessment of products, services or feeds and the associated cost to ascertain which solution best aligns with the organization's requirements.
