CyberStart America
Registration Opens October 27!
CyberStart America is a free online cybersecurity talent search and competition sponsored by the National Cyber Scholarship Foundation and the SANS Institute. CyberStart America is a free gamified learning platform open to all high school students that engages kids, assesses aptitude, and teaches students about Python, SQL injection, cryptography and more. Participants can win prizes and recognition for their schools, as well as scholarships for training.
The talent is out there - they just don’t know it yet. The CyberStart America program was built to engage and encourage students who don’t think of themselves as techies. Participating students and their teachers do not need knowledge or experience to take part, because everything they need can be learned in the game. The program can be assigned as part of homework, can form the basis of an extracurricular club, or students can simply try it on their own. Please contact partnerships at nationalcyberscholarship.org<mailto:partnerships at nationalcyberscholarship.org> for questions, and follow the link below to access the student registration page.
