[Cnaprogram] Update for Nursing Assistant Training Programs

Hello-
There has been an increase in the number of individuals who have taken an on-line nursing assistant training program that is not on the Board's approved list of training programs. These on-line training programs do not provide any lab or clinical experience so these individuals are approaching Oregon approved programs to provide the lab and clinical experience for them. All nursing assistant programs (on-line and traditional) have to provide both the didactic and the lab/clinical experience in order to be approved in Oregon. Please remember that in Oregon, students can't do the didactic with one program and the lab/clinical with another program. Do not tell individuals that approach your program for just the lab/clinical experience that you will provide it for them if the Board approves. Providing just the lab and clinical experience does not meet Board standards. Thanks Debbie
