Hello,
Please make sure that all certified medication aide (CMA) exam applications have the employment history section completed. In order to be eligible to take the state CMA exam, the CNA has to document at least six months of full time experience (or the equivalent in part time employment) as a nursing assistant. A copy of the nursing assistant certificate of completion does not meet this requirement. The applicant does not need to send in their certificate of completion from their nursing assistant training program with the application. They do need to submit their certificate of completion from their medication aide training program with their application.
