America.  You guys always inspire me.

In the meeting I got a little off track because we were talking about Storytelling to show our value.  I mentioned a really powerful free "app" that I use called Storymaps-<https://storymaps.arcgis.com/en/> built by ArcGIS.  I said I'd send a few links to maps I've made.  Since the State Library supports the whole state I have found that maps are a great way to tell out story (and well... I like maps. )

Here's one I made<http://arcg.is/29bMjZU> when I found that we had a lot of photos of Fire Towers in our collection.  Fire watching is such a large story in Washington it gave me an excuse to promote out photo collection.
And one more that showed the progress of one of our circulating STEM kits. <http://arcg.is/1TiRGYN>  I mentioned that many of our grants require pictures as part of their reporting and is one way I've used those pictures.
And this was a grant that we gave to school libraries<http://arcg.is/1YA4IRR> to update their STEM collection in their libraries.

Obviously this has nothing to do with the VR part of my job but I share it with you anyway.  In another incarnation I think I'd have been a map librarian. :)
