[collaborative-vr] FW: Hello and question

Hi everyone,

I received this email from a former NY Ask Us 24/7 member who now works in New Jersey. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help her out. I figured out quickly that NJ used to be part of QuestionPoint, with a service called QandANJ, but it was discontinued. I think she's hoping for a cooperative model solution rather than just setting up an individual virtual reference point within the institution.

Any insights would be appreciated. I'd really like to help her out if possible.

Hi Caitlin,

You may remember me as the former dean of Gill Library, from the now closed College of New Rochelle.  I'm reaching out as the University Librarian now at Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ, happy to have a position that is productive and impactful.

Through WNYLRC we participated in AskUs24/7 which was a wonderful resource for our students.  I'm wondering if you know how FDU might participate as well but as an institution in NJ I don't think we can go through WNYLRC.  Any insight would be appreciated!
