<div dir="ltr">Hi Sara and All, <div><br></div><div>I will not be able to make it to the meeting this week. We are going through an RFP process for our statewide eresources collection and we have a tremendous amount of work to do in the next 2 weeks. It's crunch time!</div><div><br></div><div>I hope you all are doing well. If you would like to know about how the LibAnswers migration from QP is going for us I'll give a quick update:</div><div><br></div><div>We have decided as a group to go live at the end of May</div><div>- our academics wanted to wait until the semester was over</div><div>- our largest public library is wrapping up another big project and wanted time to focus attention on this migration without being rushed</div><div>- my family and I were planning to go to South Korea at the beginning of May but, obviously, this has been postponed</div><div><br></div><div>In January I finished setting up my libraries' LibAnswers accounts and pushed some work out to them. </div><div><br></div><div>I followed that up with having one-on-one zoom meeting sessions with each library (just wrapping those up but now postponed for the rfp crunch)</div><div>- we went over their new account, features</div><div>- talked about the work they need to do before going live - clean up policy pages, introduce staff to their new LibAnswers subscriptions, review account profile, chat widget creation and coop fallback options, working with tickets, cooperative dashboards....</div><div><br></div><div>I followed the one-on-one sessions up by creating an AskMN staff resources page: <a href="https://elibrarymn.org/askmnstaff">https://elibrarymn.org/askmnstaff</a></div><div>- info for libraries under AskMN subscription</div><div>- info for libraries with their own LibAnswers subscription</div><div>- created a practice chat via the AskMN queue for easy practice chatting that can be done individually, within the library, between different libraries</div><div><br></div><div>This will all be followed up with a refresher training session with Maria from Springshare in late April</div><div><br></div><div>This has given my libraries the level of support they need going through this migration process. We are all feeling confident about the new system. I personally am really looking forward to working in LibAnswers and working the Springshare as a vendor. They have been very responsive to questions and requests. </div><div><br></div><div>All the best! </div><div>Carla</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Tue, Mar 10, 2020 at 3:46 PM Peté, Sara <<a href="mailto:sara.pete@sos.wa.gov">sara.pete@sos.wa.gov</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">
