<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Allison comes to us from Calgary, Alberta. She is a Librarian at Calgary Public Library and oversees the virtual reference service, Library Hotline. Library Hotline
is a centralized service including phone, chat, and email communication options. And all initial patron contact goes through the hotline and is addressed or referred internally or externally.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">This listserv group was recommenced to Allison by way of Jan Dawson, an Area Manager from Toronto Public Library. Jan shared that this is a cooperative learning space,
which is appealing since Allison is new to overseeing the Library Hotline service at Calgary Public Library and would love to learn from others with similar responsibilities and experiences.

facets of this service, including platforms, training, and service delivery. She is curious about the members of this group and values the ability to propose questions to the group, reading questions posed and answers from others, and sharing her experiences.
