A new website from OHA’s Reproductive Health Program makes it easier for people to seek abortion care information and services.

The Abortion Access in Oregon<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/HEALTHYPEOPLEFAMILIES/ABORTIONACCESS/Pages/index.aspx?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery> website provides information about:

  *   Different types of abortion services
  *   Legal and privacy rights to abortion in Oregon
  *   A list of abortion providers in Oregon, as well as resources for accessing abortion services outside of Oregon
  *   Options to help cover the cost of abortion services
  *   OHA’s Abortion Access Plan program, which covers abortion services for people who have health insurance through Providence, or whose religious employers provide insurance that does not cover abortion services
  *   Resources for travel and emotional support before, during and after an abortion

RENTWELL FOR YOUTH 17 – 24

Connected Lane County presents RentWell for youth ages 17 – 24. Rent Well is a 15-hour virtual tenant education program that provides renters with the foundational tools and skills to become responsible, successful, and stable tenants.

WHEN: May 7 – June 11, August 6 – Sept 10, or Nov 5 - Dec 10
Six sessions from 4 – 6pm each Tuesday

BLACK THISTLE STREET AID LOCATION CHANGING

Black Thistle will begin providing services at their pop-up clinic at a new location soon!

WHEN: the second Wednesday of each month, beginning Wednesday, May 8th, 1:30 – 4:30pm
WHERE: UUCE parking lot, 1685 W 13th Ave, Eugene - the southeast part of the parking lot along 13th (look for the purple people-helper pop-up tent 💜)

This website is intended to help those in our community seeking shelter either for themselves, or for someone else, know what shelters have beds available on a given night and what criteria there are for accessing those shelters.

Those accessing the site can filter through the shelters based on unique needs and be pointed in the direction of those shelters that best meet those needs. Additionally, by clicking on the bed icons located on the embedded map, site visitors can see information about the shelters including pictures, intake information, what they can expect when accessing and other important details.
