Hello Community Partners,


Oregon Department of Human Services Director Fariborz Pakseresht is excited to share that he-along with other ODHS leaders-will be embarking on a tour of ODHS offices across Oregon this summer and fall. During these visits, he will be meeting with Community Partners to strengthen relationships, better understand the unique landscape of each community, and provide an update on agency initiatives.

He is looking forward to his visit to the Eugene/Springfield area on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. We warmly invite you to attend the ODHS leadership visit to Eugene on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Purpose:    Strengthen relationships with community partners to understand your challenges and goals related to working with ODHS, learn what issues are most pressing, and discuss agency initiatives and the 2025 to 2027 budget.

Location:   Lane Community College Longhouse, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene, Or 97405
Time:   2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Interactive by design, these events are intended to foster strong relationships and ensure local perspectives are included in the agency's planning and decision-making processes. We encourage open dialogue but will also provide the ability for participants to share and ask questions during the sessions. Some local elected officials may also be attending.

As Community Partners, many of you may have already received this invite, but we want to ensure we have as many voices at the table as possible.
