WHEN: December 7th, 7am – 11am
WHERE: CG Firehouse, 233 E Harrison Ave, Cottage Grove

Santa invites kids to come share items on their wish list and enjoy a free hot breakfast of pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, coffee, juice and hot cocoa.

This is also a Toys for Tots Fundraiser. Participants are invited to bring a new unwrapped toy so disadvantaged kids can be surprised by holiday toys. Monetary donations are also welcomed.

Escudo Latino<https://www.facebook.com/escudolatino/> are launching the 4th Annual Season of Giving and collecting new toys and clothes for low income Latino children in Lane County. See attached flyers in Spanish and English for more information.

We know the high demand in our community to bring joy to children this holiday season. We are reaching out to see if you are willing to make a donation or host a bid at your location to collect toys or clothing. Everything helps. Help spread the word!

The HEDCO Clinic<https://www.instagram.com/uohedcoclinic/> is offering the Center for Academic Tutoring (CAT). CAT will be offering individual tutoring services for children in 1st or 2nd grade for reading.

Children with and without IEP’s are welcome. Tutors are graduate and undergraduate students supervised by a faculty member within the College of Education.

It's back! Build A Bike registration is now open!

Ever wondered how a bike comes together? Now’s your chance to find out! Shift Kidz Build-A-Bike Program gives youths, ages 12-17, the opportunity to get hands on experience putting a bike together piece by piece. Our experienced and knowledgeable mechanics will guide participants through each step, explaining how each parts works with the other to eventually make a bicycle. Bicycles, parts, and tools will be provided.

The South Valley Athletics<http://www.southvalleyathletics.org/> program has a Free Sports Closet filled with donations of gear and equipment. Right now, they have soccer gear like shin guards and cleats.

To access the Free Sports Closet, come by the office or call 541-942-3079. Specific requests are also accepted – they will see if they can find what you need.

The Free Sports Closet is mostly utilized by Cottage Grove residents, but is open to all!
