WHEN: Wednesday, June 5, 6 – 8pm

WHERE: ECCO High School, located at 200 N. Monroe St. in Eugene.

WHO: Parents and caregivers

This month will feature an interactive question and answer panel discussion with neurodiverse students from the University of Oregon's Neurodiversity Alliance. Come listen to students share their perspectives about things that helped them the most, things that hindered them and what parents can do to support their students.

This is an opportunity for parents to connect, share resources and network in a positive environment.

This will be the last meeting until the group reconvenes in September. See attached flyer for more!

Roots of Empathy families are parents and babies who visit a classroom with Roots of Empathy instructors nine times over a school year.

Babies teach students about child development, helping students recognize themselves and their emotions and explore how to care for others.

Fern Ridge Library, 88026 Territorial Rd, Veneta
June 18th and 25th, July 3rd (1:30 - 2:30 pm)
Registration opens June 15th

Thanks to funding from the Oregon Country Fair Bill Wooten Endowment Fund, Lane Arts Council Teaching Artists are bringing a series of three youth art workshops to the Fern Ridge Library. Each workshop will give students ways to engage in concepts of conservation through the arts. On June 18th, Chauncey Mauney will lead a Campfire Songs workshop. Alex Ever will inspire students to create Natural Collages on June 25th, and Heather Greene will lead a Biomimicry exploration for teens on July 3rd. Space is limited. Students can register in person at the Fern Ridge Library starting June 15th.
